Les dialogues sont tirés de l’Evangile selon St-Jean.
Les apôtres sont preque tous des cinéastes, amis (et disciples) de Boris Lehman venus jouer devant la dernière maison-atelier d'artiste- restée debout face aux nouveaux bâtiments du Parlement européen. Le rôle de Judas est tenu par Claudio Pazienza et Boris Lehman incarne le Christ.
La mise en scène est inspirée par la fresque peinte par Léonard de Vinci dans le couvent de Santa Maria delle Grazie à Milan.

Le film a été tourné en quelques heures, un dimanche matin devant un décor incroyable, quasi hollywoodien, dans une rue complètement rasée par les promoteurs immobiliers, juste avant l’arrivée de la police.

The dialogue is based on the Gospel according to St John.
The apostles are played by friends (the disciples) of Boris Lehman, most of them movie-makers, filmed in front of the last house still standing opposite the new buildings of the European Union. Judas is played by Claudio Pazienza and Christ by Boris Lehman.

The film was shot in a matter of hours on a Sunday morning, with an incredible decor in a street that had been razed to the ground by property developers, just before the police arrived.
